10 Things to Do in Niagara Region, Ontario

The Niagara Region is a beautiful area of Ontario to explore. There are so many things to do and see, so I put together a list of my favourite spots. I hope you enjoy my guide of 10 things to do in Niagara Region, Ontario!

Wineries

My favourite thing to do in the Niagara Region is visit the numerous beautiful wineries. You may have heard of the well known wineries in Niagara-on-the-Lake but there are amazing wineries all over the region. I love grabbing a glass of wine and relaxing with a beautiful view or walking around the grounds of a winery!

The Painted Ladies of Grimsby

The Painted Ladies of Grimsby are a unique must-see in the Niagara Region. These amazing, colorful beach cottages started as a Methodist church campsite in the 1800s! Several of the homes are over 150 years old and the residents began painting them about 30 years ago. Park at Bell Park and walk around the various streets and especially Auditorium Circle.

The Watering Can Flower Market has two locations in Niagara Region – Vineland and St. Catharines. The Vineland location is absolutely stunning and also has delicious food at their cafe inside the market. I highly recommend visiting!
